He is a lecturer, educator, panelist, consultant and a seminar-trainer speaker of various institutions. Some of these were AMA Education System, STI College, Sta. Isabel College, Adamson University, and AMA Computer Learning Center Franchise Group, Centro Escolar University, Lyceum of the Philippines – Batangas, and St. Scholastica’s College - Manila among others.
Currently the Project Coordinator of the Projektgruppe Malabon Foundation, a college scholarship program in the Philippines by the German benefactors.
Prof. Cruz is a Civil Service Professional Eligible and a recipient of Special Certificate for Civil Service Eligibility by the Civil Service Commission and a Licensed Teacher by the Board for Professional Teacher of Professional Regulation Commission.
He participated on the 2011 Cross-strait Academic Conference on Enhancement of Public Governance (Conference on Public Governance and Regional Cooperation) last September 06-10, 2011 which was sponsored by Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau, Macao Special Administrative Region at University of Macau, China.
He was a delegate on International Study on Comparative Political Systems of Korea and the Philippines for the courses on the Administration of Political Development and Theory and practice of Public Administration in 2010 at the Republic of Korea.
He becomes part of the De Paul University, Chicago, Illinois and Adamson University Study Abroad Program during the year 2008 for Collaborative Initiative on Academic Service Learning and 2009 for the Workshop on Participatory Research and Poverty Reduction Program.
Last 2005, he participated on the International Conference on Quality Education and Business Competitiveness by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and YUDA University in Taiwan, Republic of China.
Currently, he is an Independent LGU Consultant of the Management Systems International, United States Agency for International Development project for recalibration of Integrity Development Review Tool at the University of the Philippines – National College of Public Administration and Governance, Center for Local & Regional Governance.
He is a Full time College Professor of Finance and Economics at Adamson University, the Adviser of the Junior Financial Executives and one of the Faculty Advisor for Student in Free Enterprise. He becomes a special Faculty Lecturer for the Evening Class at AMA Computer Learning Center. As well, the former youngest Barangay Councilor in the City of Malabon who rank undefeated number 1 in the 2007 concluded local election and served for 3yrs. as elected after his vigorous five years of service as appointive local government official.
He has also placed an investment with the Bureau of Treasury, Retail Bond and used to be a Network Development Specialist at Real Saver’s Incorporated, after his experienced in the banking industry at Metrobank and Trust Company.
He has occupied leadership as Chair and Co-founder of Malabon Citizen Youth in Action Incorporated, Finance Officer of Diocesan Youth Ministry in the Diocese of Kalookan, and Assistant Vicariate Coordinator of Youth Council in Malabon.
An affiliate of different professional organization such as: member of the Associations of Marketing Educators of the Philippines (AME) and member of the Philippine Society for Public Administration Incorporated (PSPA) and the Treasurer of Philippine Association of Campus Student’s Advisers (PACSA) in the National Capital Region.
Advocate of non-government organizations and people organizations. He is also a recipient of various awards, recognitions and citations both in public and private sector. To mention a few are: AdU University Presidential Award as an advocate for Academic Service Learning; one of the 25 Outstanding Parishioners in the Diocese of Kalookan; received Gintong Parangal Award of the City of Malabon in 2003 & 2008 in the field of Academic Excellence; and Outstanding Sangguniang Barangay Award for NCR by the Department of Interior and Local Government.
Currently, he was cited as Most Dedicated and Outstanding Faculty in AMA Computer Learning Center, member of AMA Education System and Most Outstanding Adviser for Recognized Student Organizations from the Office of Student Affairs in Adamson University for Academic Year 2012 and he was named as “Lakan ng Adamson 2012” during the 80th Foundation Pageant Night. Indeed, he is a man of indefatigable energy and drive.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Wilson is the lead partner in IFRS and heads the Firm’s Accounting Standards Group. He is also an active member of the EY Asia Pacific Accounting Standards Group. He was recently appointed member of the Philippine Interpretations Committee which assists the Financial Reporting Standards Council of the Philippines in establishing and improving financial reporting standards in the country. His audit experience covers industries such as banking, telecommunications, power generation and distribution, food manufacturing, and mining. He has an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is a member of the Management Association of the Philippines and the Makati Business Club.
