Investing Generation: Making Investment a Lifestyle
The seminar entitled “Investing generation: making investment a lifestyle” started at exactly 12:00nn. The event did not started as planned because we still had to wait for the speaker to arrive. And after a while, the program started. The opening prayer was led by Ms. Charizza Adriano. Then the National Anthem followed by the opening remarks by Asst. Prof. McRey Banderlipe. He shared his expectations on the success of the seminar. Then, event proceeded with the intermission number from the Teatro Divas to liven up the audience before proceeding to the main best part of the seminar which is the talk of the speaker. After the intermission comes the introduction of the speaker, Mr. Marvin Germo, FPA which highlighted his past and present achievements and gave a short background about him. Follows the lecture of the speaker and its main focus is about investing, on how to make it a lifestyle, managing finances and having capital appreciation by investing at an early stage. He was very prepared in his talk and he even showed a powerpoint presentation in order for the students to understand the topic. There are also several students which asked him questions during the open forum after his lecture. Another intermission number was presented by selected students to freshen up the audience. Then the Certificate of Appreciation was presented to the Mr. Germo for his wonderful and inspiring lecture on investments. This is followed by the closing remarks also by Asst. Prof. McRey Banderlipe. The closing prayer was led by Rizzie Ann Felix to thank God for the success of the event. The masters of the ceremony were Sarah Jane San Antonio and Dian Kathleen Bernese. We then sang the Alma Mater Hymn then the program has come to an end.
